My true love is imagination. This blog explores all of those lovely products of the imagination – books, anime, graphic novels, and more. Geeky Girl is a good description of me, though I lean more towards the fantasy/sci fi lover and less towards the gamer, unless we’re talking Soul Calibur and Dance Central. Talk about jutsu, katanas, and One Ring to Rule Them All will make me swoon, and Elfen Lied made me cry, after it made me wish I had a cat so I could name her Nyu. Which is what I named my car. Update: I have a cat now. But her name is Neko-San. She is the best cat ever.

I have a crush on Selene from Underworld (and her leather jumpsuit).  I’m writing a fantasy novel (and no, there’s no vampires in it).  Seriously, I could go on, but you get the point.  I am certifiably a major dork.

I do have other interests that I may touch on from time to time.  Marketing, SEO, and social media are all in my field, and I find the subjects fascinating and challenging.  I’ve been training and riding horses since I was just a little hobbit, and I have the scars to prove it!  My ornery lady horse friend is responsible for most of those scars, but I love her anyway!  So random posts about random things could sneak their way past security and conduct a hostile take over every once in awhile.

I work at a kick-ass company called Good Karmal, where we believe that candy can change the world for the better. Each piece of yummy caramel is wrapped with an inspiring quote by our all time favorite thinkers, movers, and shakers.  We carry eco-friendly gifts packaged in materials made from renewable resources, and donate a portion of sales to charitable foundations. We’re pretty much like Planeteers, but with caramel instead of magic rings. Oh, and we don’t have a theme song. Yet.
