If your girl sends you texts that say things like The Kitchen. Come at once if convenient. If inconvenient, come anyway, then you should probably check out these Sherlock and Watson key chains.  It’s a way of feeding her inner Sherlock while telling her how much you care.

In an act of heartwarming bromance, my best nerd friend Lixie bought these key chains for my Christmas present, leaving no doubt in my Sherlock, BBC ridden brain that our love was born of fate and sealed with geek. One is enscripted with the words you are the Sherlock to my Watson, the other says you are the Watson to my Sherlock. She holds one, and I hold the other – a constant reminder of our love that we see every time we unlock the front doors to our houses or get in the car.

My gorgeous redheaded friend of awesome (and one of my heroes) Zendulo told me a few surprises that would make her Valentine’s Day – and I’m guessing her Valentine’s Night, as well.

Halo 4

A few video games come to mind for the romantic, kill-things-while-eating-take-out on the couch together scenario. I’m guessing she might already have it, But Halo 4 provides hours of fun for my husband and I, and nothing breeds bonding like screaming obscenities at the screen while frantically searching for more guns.

You could also really make her day and pre-order StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. It’s not out until March 12th, so you’ll just have to give her a pretty card – but believe me when I say she won’t care. Most gamers I talk to start to do weird pirouettes across the room while mumbling things about ‘strategic decisions’ and ‘March is going to be the best month ever.’

My husband and I love ourselves a good cup of coffee, and we don’t mind taking the extra time to make it right each morning. If you have a lady friend who loves gadgets and is a coffee snob, I have the perfect present for you.
